It’s incredible how time flies and how just a moment ago we were snuggling that fresh new little being inhaling all that incredible newborn scent ..and just a moment later they are lifting themselves up to sit and steal food from our plates! All the mischief is about to unfold giving you a heads up of what is just around the corner. It’s an incredible moment in baby’s development, it’s like they suddenly realise there’s so much more to life!
Those curious little hands start to discover things can be grabbed, moved and tasted and it’s just a split of a second before they get that wild idea ‘what if I lift myself even higher!?’ ..and take their first step.
I always urge parents to capture this special milestone in their baby’s life to keep it remembered and to one day show their little person how adorable they were at that stage! Sitter sessions at my Chester studio are usually done between the 6th and 10th month of baby’s life. It’s just before the crawling stage begins. The moment you notice your little one is starting to keep balance sitting unsupported, get in touch and we will schedule your sitter session as soon as possible. Some babies are very quick to start crawling and walking, so it’s really best booked rather sooner than later.
Sitter sessions are amongst my most favourite ones, so my studio is perfectly prepared and equipped for these sessions with an impressive selection of outfits to choose from, age adapted props and toys to keep our little model happy and engaged. My focus is placed on capturing those sweet curious looks, happy smiles, little giggles, mischief and cuteness of your little person. And just like with my other photo sessions parents and siblings are always more than welcome to join in the shoot. There is no extra charge involved and it will enhance your gallery with many beautiful family photographs to treasure!
Your photos will take roughly 2-4 weeks before they are ready to view. You will be invited back to my studio to view your gallery and decide on best products and packages to suit your budget.
There’s no pressure on spending, it’s a very relaxed appointment and I will be there to help you select your favourite captures from your gallery and pick the best offer. My priority is a happy client!
Milestone photo sessions are very specific and it’s important that you make the best choices when deciding on products during your ordering appointment. If your baby had a newborn session and you are planning on booking a First Birthday session for your little one as well, together it will create a beautiful story captured in photographs. The story of your baby’s First Year of Life. You may wish to plan how to document it and whether you’d like to create a wall art with a lovely selection of framed photos or perhaps a photo album with photographs from each session. The last thing you’d want to do is let these photos to sit on a USB in a drawer, completely forgotten.
