Newborn Portrait Session – £50 Session Fee
Your £50 session fee secures your newborn photography experience in our Chester studio.
It includes up to a 2-hour natural style session, use of our beautiful wraps, props and outfits, family and sibling portraits if desired, and a personal 30 minutes viewing appointment straight after your session to choose your favourite images.
A complimentary mounted 9x6 print with your first order.
The session fee does not include digital images or products, and there is no obligation to purchase after your session.

At Serenade Photography, I offer two maternity photography styles: a Natural Maternity Session and a Fine Art Maternity Session. Both are designed to create beautiful, professional maternity portraits while allowing you to choose the style that feels most like you.
Natural Maternity Photography Session
Warm • Natural • Timeless
The Natural Maternity Session is perfect for mums who love soft, elegant and timeless photography.
These sessions are photographed using gentle, beautiful light, natural backgrounds and simple styling to create images that feel warm and authentic. Rather than complicated or overly posed photographs, you’ll be gently guided through natural, flattering poses and movements so you feel comfortable and confident throughout your session.
The focus is on you, your pregnancy and this special chapter of your life — creating photographs that feel natural and beautiful and that you’ll still love looking at years from now.
Your session can include a selection of simple maternity outfits, with styling kept elegant and timeless. Partners and children can also be included if you wish, allowing us to capture the connection between you and your growing family.
Fine Art Maternity Photography Session
Elegant • Creative • Artistic
For mums who would like something a little more styled and artistic, the Fine Art Maternity Session offers additional time and creative options.
This session includes an extra 30 minutes of studio time and an additional £75 added to the session fee.
With the Fine Art experience, there is more time to explore different looks and create a greater variety of images. This can include larger, more dramatic maternity dresses, different backgrounds, more detailed styling, beautiful fabrics and additional creative setups.
There is also a greater focus on the fine art editing and finishing of your images, helping to create a more polished, artistic feel while still keeping the photographs elegant and true to you.
If you have a particular colour, background or style in mind, the Fine Art Session gives us more flexibility to create something different from the natural setup.

The Natural Newborn Session is our signature newborn photography experience and the perfect choice for families who love soft, elegant, and natural images.
This style uses a carefully selected setup with soft neutral tones, natural textures, and gentle styling. The entire gallery is photographed in a consistent colour palette, creating a beautiful collection of newborn portraits that flows naturally from one image to the next.
These sessions focus on your baby’s tiny details, natural expressions, and the connection between your family. Parents and siblings are always welcome to be part of the experience, creating meaningful family photographs alongside your newborn portraits.
Fine Art Newborn Photography Session
Creative • Styled • Artistic
For families looking for more variety and a more artistic newborn photography experience, the Fine Art Session offers additional styling and creative options.
This session includes a wider choice of backgrounds, colours, props, outfits, wraps, textures, and carefully designed setups. With more changes and additional preparation required, Fine Art newborn sessions need extra studio time to create the variety and detail included in the final gallery.
Because of the additional planning, styling, and extended session time (+ 1 hour ), the Fine Art Newborn Session includes an additional £75 added to the session fee.
Whether you prefer the simplicity of natural newborn photography or the creativity of a fine art newborn portrait session, my goal is to create beautiful images that capture your baby’s first days in a way that feels authentic, timeless, and personal.

This combined experience is available at the Fine art session pricing, making it a perfect choice if you’d love a little bit of everything — without compromise. Because some moments deserve to be styled… and some deserve to simply be felt. (+£75 session fee)
If you prefer printed photographs rather than digital files, you also have the option to purchase individual images from the selection below.
There is no minimum spend or requirement to purchase a collection — you can simply choose the printed photographs that you love most.
