This time right now is one of the most magical experiences life will ever present you with. There’s nothing in the world that compares to being home for another soul & to loving someone so deeply before we even get to meet them. Whether it’s your first, second or last planned pregnancy, documenting this special time in photographs is a bit like presenting yourself with a ticket to go back in time. To revisit these moments and emotions, and allow your little one to join you in this trip and see his/her mama in this beautiful state. With all the love you already hold for this sweet little being.
You can book your maternity session anytime between 28th and 36th week of pregnancy (if you’re already past your 36th week, don’t panic and get in touch asap, we may still have availability to accommodate your session). Your session will be thoroughly planned and all the details regarding your preferred colour palette, dresses and set ups will be discussed on the day of your session. I always reserve an hour and a half long studio slot to make sure we don’t have to rush through any stages and there’s plenty of time to experiment and go through many different set ups. In the end it will create a stunning gallery of photographs for you to choose from during your Viewing Appointment.
We’re very proud of our collection of maternity dresses and I’m sure you will find at leas several dresses that match your style, but if you have anything you’d like to bring along with you don’t hesitate to do so. Even if it’s just something you have a soft spot for it will add that last touch to your gallery creating a truly personalised and unique set of photographs.
When preparing to your pregnancy session, I always urge mummies to treat yourself for the day! Get your hair & nails done, put on your favourite make up, it will make you feel glamorous and your photos will reflect that in every inch! You will be blown away when you come to your Viewing appointment.
I always aim to offer a beautiful variety of different photographs in my clients’ galleries. Including close ups of the belly, classy nude poses, as well as glamour & natural shots. If you’d like to include your partner and older children in your session you are welcome to do so and there is no extra charge involved. It’s up to you, you can make this day entirely about you, or focus on your growing family, or even have a bit of both and your family can join for the final 30 minutes of your session to capture Family portraits together.
Your Gallery will be tastefully retouched and presented to you roughly two to four weeks after your session during your viewing appointment. You will have an opportunity to not only select your favourite captures from the shoot but also decide on the form you’d like to preserve them and keep for years to come. My packages are designed to offer you digital files as well as printed products, and my wide range Fine Art top quality products will offer you plenty of choice!
