Serenade Photography is a small, welcoming studio based in Chester, specialising in newborn, baby and family photography.
For over 15 years, I’ve been working with families across Chester, Flintshire, North
Wales and the Wirral, capturing the little moments that pass far too quickly.

My sessions are calm, relaxed and never rushed. I know being in front of the camera can feel daunting (especially with little ones), so everything is gently guided to help you feel comfortable while I capture natural, genuine moments — the kind you’ll look back on and feel, not just see.
Whether you’re booking a newborn session in those early days, a baby milestone shoot, or a family photoshoot, the focus is always the same — creating images that feel like you, not something overly posed or forced.

I also offer cake smash sessions here in Chester, which are always such a fun way to celebrate a first birthday. They’re simple, joyful, and completely centred around your baby’s personality (and yes, a bit of mess is always part of it!).

Alongside family photography, I work with small businesses and professionals to create natural, modern branding images and headshots.
Nothing too stiff or corporate — just clean, confident images that represent you and your work properly.
Everything I do is about keeping things simple, relaxed and meaningful — so you leave with images that actually matter to you, not just something to tick off a list.

From start to finish at the studio she was very professional and so so good with Riley, we hardly had to do anything but sit back and watch her do her thing! Been to choose the photos i had taken of my two girls today....i got emotional watching the slideshow and the absolutely stunning photos Mal has captured of them both.
